Internet Explorer 5.0/5.5 Users (Windows)

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu. The Internet Options dialog opens.
  2. Locate the Custom area of the Security tab. Click Custom Level button. Security Settings dialog opens.
  3. Scroll down to the Scripting section of the Security Settings window.
    You must select the Enable radio button under Active Scripting.
  4. Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog.
  5. Click on the Security tab.
  6. Click the Custom Level button.
  7. Scroll down to the Cookies section.
  8. To enable:
    • Set Allow cookies that are stored on your computer to Enable.
    • Set Allow per-session cookies to Enable.
  9. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog.
  10. Hit the F5 key to refresh your browser.

Note: Windows XP Users, you will need to restart your computer for the changes to take place

Internet Explorer 6.0/7.0 users (Windows)

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu. The Internet Options dialog opens.
  2. Select the Security tab and select the Internet zone.
  3. Locate the Security level for this zone area. Click Custom Level button. Security Settings dialog opens.
  4. Scroll down to the Scripting section of the Settings window. You must select the Enable radio button under Active Scripting.
  5. Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog.
  6. Click on the Privacy tab.
  7. Click the Default button (or manually slide the bar down to Medium) under Settings.
  8. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog.
  9. Hit the F5 key to refresh your browser.

Internet Explorer 5.0/5.1 users (MAC)

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu. The Internet Options dialog opens.
  2. Select the Receiveing Files link on the left.
  3. Under Cookies, select Enable/Accept.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Locate the Web Browser link of the left .
  6. Select Web Content.
  7. Under the Active Content area, select Enable Scripting.
  8. Click OK.

Netscape Communicator 6.0/7.1 (Win or MAC)

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Click Edit in the browser tool bar.
  2. Then, click Preferences.
  3. In the Preferences section, you will see several items in the Category window.
  4. Click Privacy and Security.
  5. Then click Enable all cookies.
  6. Click Advanced.
  7. Click Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache.
  8. Below the Clear Disk Cache button, make sure that the: Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network, is highlighted on, Every time I view the page.
  9. Click on Proxies in the category window. Make certain that the proxies are set to Direct connection to the internet.

Safari users (Mac OSX)

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
  2. The Preferences Internet Options dialog opens.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Under the Accept Cookies section, select one of two radio buttons. Either select the Always radio button or the Only from sites you navigate to radio button.
  5. Under the Web Content section, make sure that the checkbox for Enable JavaScript is selected.
  6. Close the Preferences dialog box.

Firefox users

To enable Cookies and JavaScript, follow these steps:

  1. Select Options from the Tools menu.
  2. The Options dialog opens.
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. Make sure that the checkbox for Enable JavaScript is selected.
  5. Select the Privacy option (padlock icon)
  6. Under the Cookies tab, check the Checkbox for Allow sites to set Cookies.
  7. Click OK and close the Options dialog to apply changes.
